February 2016 brought comic book fans a wealth of new titles, from DC Comics to Marvel Comics, Image and IDW, Dark Horse and Zenescope Comics fans had their pick of the coolest comic books available. Comic book fans will be sure to find their favorite latest tile right here at White Dragon Comics.
Dark Knight III: The Master Race #3 continued in February 2016 as Batman and Carrie Kelley journeyed to the Fortress of Solitude to free Superman as the renegade priest Quar and his fanatic Kandorian followers make their demands of Earth's leaders. Dark Knight III published by DC comics and written/drawn by Frank Miller, Brian Azzarello, Andy Kubert, and Klaus Janson's, was the best-selling comic book in February 2016. In addition to Dark Knight III: The Master Race #1, Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's, Superheavy storyline continued in Batman #49, which was the third best-selling comic book in February. DC Comics Justice League # 48, was the last title from DC to make the top ten coming into the tenth best-selling slot for the month of February.
Marvel Comics had a total of seven top selling comic book titles in February. Marvel Comic’s popular Star Wars # 16 was the best title for the company coming in at the number two position. Darth Vader # 16, a spin-off of fan favorite Star Wars gained a spot in the top ten best sellers of February 2016 as well. Spider-Man #1 was the next title from Marvel Comics to hit the top ten followed by everybody’s favorite Merc, Deadpool in Deadpool Mercs for Money #1. Deadpool’s popularity did not stop there, in fact Deadpool # 7, a special 25th Anniversary for our, um…hero was the sixth best selling comic book in February. The Original Heroes For Hire, are Back on The Clock, that’s right Luke Cage and Danny Rand back together and back to Street-Stomping basics in Power Man and Iron Fist #1 the next best selling comic for Marvel Comics. Also making the top-ten was Amazing Spider-Man # 7, with Mister Negative waging war on our webbed hero, can Peter Parker aka Spider-Man get out of this mess and save the day?
Image Comics continued to shock fans in an all-new issue of The Walking Dead #151, which started a new arc for our Zombie fighting heroes. Dark Horse Comics gave fans a new Fight Club 2 # 9, which had Sebastian fighting his son, as he and Marla rekindled their love, but it might all be for naught as the trios are buried alive in a huge salt cavern! And IDW took fans on a ride Back to the Future in issue #5, the best selling comic book for the company in February 2016.
