July 2014 was an explosive month we had Independence Day, parties, fireworks and new comic book releases from Marvel and DC Comics, Image and IDW Comics, Boom and Dark Horse Comics and many more.
Marvel Comics took six top ten selling comic books for the month of July 2014, including Guardians of The Galaxy’s Rocket Raccoon. Guardians Rocket Raccoon broke out in his own brand-new solo comic book, Rocket Raccoon #1, the best-selling comic book of July 2014. This new series from Skottie Young Rocket bursts from the pages, vibrant and emotional, their expressions vivid and perfectly on point. Other titles making it into the top ten from Marvel include Spider-Man 2099, The Legendary Star-Lord, Amazing Spider-Man and Original Sin # 5 and # 6. Marvel Comics released a total of 129 comics in July, ninety-three comic books and thirty-six graphic novels.
DC Comics sparkled with a whopping one-hundred and twenty eight titles released, ninety-seven comic books and thirty-one graphic novels. DC Comics grabbed four of the top ten selling comic books with Batman, Justice League, Harley Quinn and new # 1 Grayson. Dick Grayson former sidekick, former Super Hero, former dead man and now agent of Spyral; this is necessary must have thrilling new chapter of Dick Grayson’s life! DC Comics released a slew of new number ones in July 2014 including, Robin Rises: Omega, New Suicide Squad, Teen Titans, Star-Spangled War Stories Featuring G.I. Zombie, Superman/Wonder Woman Annual, and Red Lanterns Annual.
Image Comics shined with hit comics Aphrodite IX Cyber Force # 1, Black Kiss and Black Science # 1’s Dark Engine and Death Vigil # 1 released this month, July 2014. Image Comics third top seller in July, releasing a total of eighty-three books, sixty-six comics and seventeen graphic novels.
IDW Comics and Dark Horse Comics followed by Dynamite, Boom, Zenescope and Archie Comics rounded out the rest of the top ten selling comic book companies for July 2014.
