July 2017 was a bang-up month for comic books! All of the Big “Five” publishing companies along with the numerous “Indie” publishers gave comic book readers some of the coolest, awesome and wildest comic books to date! DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse and Image published several All-New Comic Book titles with new stories lines, Super-heroes, villains and monsters in several different genres in July 2017.
DC Comic’s presented Batman fans with a new comic book, Dark Days: The Casting which leads into a new DC Comic event, Dark Nights: Metal! Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Andy Kubert, Jim Lee, and John Romita, Jr. have comic book readers on the edge of their seats with this all-new mystery! Action Comics from DC Comics continued its quest to issue #1000!
Marvel Comics also published cool comics in July 2017. Deadpool went om a rampage in Deadpool Kills Marvel Universe Again #1, one of Marvel Comics top-ten selling comic books in July. Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli gave Spider-Man fans a new comic book storyline with Spider-Men II # 1… Miles Morales and Peter Parker meet?… hmmmm!
Image Comics released several cool comic books in July 2017 and continued fan-favorites, like the always popular comic Walking Dead! Springing out of Images New Comic Books comes Generation Gone, this comic was good it went to a second printing! Generation Gone answers the question, “What happens when your poor and angry and get Super Powers, you didn’t ask for?”
Among the small press comic book publishers, it was Boom Comics that gave readers a new number one hit with Go-Go Power Rangers #1 releasing in July 2017. Dynamite Entertainment gave readers a new #1 as well with Bettie Page and new publishing company Aftershock comics continued its rise in popularity with hit comic titles Jimmy’s Bastards, Animosity and Pestilence!
