November 2014 not only brings family together in celebration, but also turkey and pumpkin pie, football, the first signs of winter and giving thanks. But, especially giving thanks for entertainment, that’s right entertainment in the form of comic books. November 2014 was an impressive month for comic books from Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Avatar, Image and IDW as well as Archie Comics, Boom, Bongo and many more comic book companies.
Marvel Comics and DC Comics continued their battle for the number one spot with Marvel winning not only the number one slot, but also the number two spot with Amazing Spider-Man and All-New Captain America. DC Comics Batman, Justice League, Harley Quinn, Superman Unchained, Wonder Woman, Guardians of the Galaxy and Detective Comics rounded out the rest of the top twenty comic books. Images Walking Dead held onto 14th place falling only two places for the first time in months.
New number one comic books released in November of 2014 include Marvel’s Spider-Verse, All-New Captain America, Superior X-Men, and Avengers/ X-Men: Axis.
